We took this 3-bedroom, 3 bath condominium in the hotel zone in Puerto Vallarta, down to the studs and rebuilt it from the ground up—changing not just how it looks, but how it feels.

What started dark, heavy and dated became light, warm, textured and layered, with natural materials, collected pieces and plenty of personality.
